To control the scope of a search request MetaServices uses LDAP nodes to assign replication sources with search requests. By default MetaServices creates 3 LDAP nodes.
The replication sources has to be attached to a LDAP node. So it is possible to search multiple data sources in one LDAP search request.
•3imediaserver (Used for incoming number resolution in SwyxWare/NetPhone PreProcessing script)
•3imediaphonebook (Used for incoming number resolution (public phonebook CD) in SwyxWare/NetPhone PreProcessing script)
•3imediaclient (Used for number resolution in SwyxIt!/NetPhone Client)
On incoming calls the server searches all databases attached to the 3imediaserver node and on negative result the 3imediaphonebook node.
